Get Ready To Thrive

As soon as you feel ready to give us a call about addiction treatment, our simple, four-step rehab admissions process begins.

1. Get pre-screened over the phone.

We will talk to you about your addiction history and make sure we understand your unique needs. Instead of fueling the stigma of addiction by asking, “What is wrong with you?”, we start by asking, “What is happening to you?” We aim to understand who you are and how addiction is influencing you.

While we have you on the phone, we will also take your insurance information, if you have it. Insurance verification can take between 15 minutes to a couple of days.

2. Book your first day of recovery.

We’ll work with your schedule to determine a specific day and time for you to arrive at Washburn House to begin addiction treatment. If you’re within 50 miles of our treatment facility and need transportation, we can accommodate you.

3. Review a sample schedule.

We will walk you through a typical treatment plan at Washburn House, according to what type of addiction treatment program you need. This will give you a better idea of what the day-to-day program includes.

4. Go over what you need to bring.

We have almost everything you need when it comes to basic necessities, but print out our packing list to double-check what you should bring along.

What to Expect on Your First Day

When you arrive at Washburn House, one of our recovery specialists will help you check in. They will screen your belongings and answer any questions you have about the treatment facilities.

Then an admissions nurse will take you through a clinical assessment. You may be asked to do a drug test. This assessment helps us make sure you’re in the right level of care.

Once you’ve completed the screening and assessment, you may begin medically monitored detox or jump right into one of our other rehab programs.
